Project: Light Box - Sold in Custom Rides Kits, House of Fashion Kits, and Makeup Artist Kits

Description: For this project I had to "value engineer" a set of light tables. My primary objective was to eliminate as many screws in assembly as possible. Each screw takes 5 seconds to install, which results in additional labor costs. In total I eliminated 21 screws, which was a total assembly savings time of 1 minute and 45 seconds, and $2/unit of savings in plastic. The design now relies on a snap fit easy assembly.
